Are you passionate about the outdoors and looking to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us each month to develop the natural outdoor leaders in your through leadership and outdoor skills workshops. Step into a world of mystery, maps, and exploration! During this Outdoor Leadership Club meeting, you’ll learn all about letterboxing, which is a treasure hunt that uses clues and compasses, and how to guide younger scouts through this creative outdoor challenge. Learn how to read a compass, how to create and solve clues, and how to teach simple navigation techniques. You will end the meeting by hunting for the hidden letterboxes at Camp Greene Wood. This a leadership development opportunity. This program is designed for individual Girl Scouts; prior PA or CIT experience is not required. Attendance is not required at every monthly meeting in order to participate in this event. This is a day event and does not include an overnight. This program is designed for individuals WITHOUT an adult chaperone. This IS a drop off event. A snack is provided as part of this event. A patch will be provided for registered youth participants.
