About This Activity

Instructor: Nick Gregory. Does your child build with Legos and like to draw? Maybe he or she is just generally creative? Maya is the perfect opportunity for creative students to express their imagination in a world completely at their fingertips! Autodesk's Maya program is a 3-D modeling program that gives users the ability to create anything they can possibly imagine. It helps develop students' abilities to take the images in their heads and turn them into reality, and our camp strives to foster their creativity in a fun environment. Over the week, we'll teach campers how to create shapes, animate them, and mold them to form anything from a whale to a robot. The kids will not only learn how to use Maya, they will also have fun sharing what they and their friends can make.
