Instructor: Arcelia Vazquez. This camp is designed to give children opportunities to use Spanish in practical, real-world situations outside the classroom. Children will improve their speaking, reading, and listening skills on field trips to parks and a Mexican restaurant. Hands-on activities such as scavenger hunts, playing games, cooking, singing, and art also provide authentic experiences for practicing language. Children in grades K - 2 may be interested in the morning Spanish immersion classes, and they will benefit from the additional conversations and interactions this camp provides. Course fee includes transportation costs, snacks, and money for restaurant. Hundreds of children have attended our Pasaporte a la diversión summer camp, and many return year after year!
