This is a camp for all rising 5th-8th grade boys and girls. Weight room experience is not required. We will be working on speed and agility, proper lifting techniques, core strength and flexibility. When: 10:30a-12:00pm (mostly M,W,F, with a few exceptions) Where: Harding Weight Room and HA campus turf field Dates Offered: (6/1-7/24): June 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, 30 (off July 4 holiday week) July 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23 Coach Sammy Cribb is a professional strength & conditioning coach (C.S.C.S). He's coached athletes of all ages and levels, including kids. He has been a strength and conditioning coach for NFL, MLB, MMA and NCAA athletes. He is Harding’s Strength & Conditioning Coach and also coaches the wrestling and football teams. Coach Sammy Cribb also enjoys working with non-athletes who are trying to lose weight, get stronger, leaner, healthier and more fit. He knows how to tailor a workout program to fit the individual. Coach Emma Cribb (C.P.T.) will lead the girls through aerobic conditioning activities and simple strengthening workouts using mostly body weight, resistance bands and light weights. She will also incorporate yoga postures and stretches to promote flexibility and balance. Emma has many years of experience as a personal trainer, yoga instructor and endurance sports coach.
