This ImmersionArts Day Camp for musicians ages 6-12* includes guided explorations in music and architecture including pattern, physics of sound, cymatics, instrument making, loop pedal composition and more. For the hands-on art component a variety of construction materials will be available to create various types of models. Time for whole group music, movement and visual arts facilitated by a licensed, certified educator will be balanced with time to explore a variety of hands-on centers available for self-selection. Families are asked to pack a healthy, nut-free lunch and snack along with a water bottle labeled with the child's name. Like all Musicollaborative group programs, child-facilitator ratios are kept low so space is limited. Siblings are half off and there is a 25% discount if you register for more than one week of camp. To view photos from recent events you can visit facebook.com/musicollaborative. 10% of camp proceeds will support our 2016 tuition assistance fund for Musicollaborative's group music classes for children and youth. Facilitators include certified music educators Kaya Martínez, MM, Audrey Smith and Réshanda Yates along with special guest artists.
