Bobbin lace is a lacemaking technique in which lengths of thread wound on bobbins are twisted and crossed. As the work progresses, the lace is held in place with pins placed in a lace pillow following a pattern. In this class, students will learn the basic fundamentals of Torchon lace and how it's constructed. We will be focusing on Half stitch, Linen stitch, and Whole stitch techniques, while constructing simple bobbin lace bracelet. -- Instructor: Elena Kanagy Loux The After Workshops are a series of high quality hands-on classes, at low cost and low commitment.
