Winter Cheerleading (Grades K–8)
Season: January – April|
Tuition: $300 (returning Fall Sideline athletes automatically receive a $50 loyalty discount)
Newberg Youth Cheer’s Winter Season brings the same team spirit indoors! Open to athletes in grades K–8, this program focuses on performance skills, teamwork, and confidence building. Athletes will learn dynamic routines, stunts, and motion technique, then share their progress at local community events and the NYC Winter Showcase.
New This Season:
Winter Cheer welcomes both returning and new athletes — no prior experience required. Instead of purchasing a full uniform, all participants receive CPRD practice gear for performances.
This structure keeps the program affordable and flexible while maintaining that high-energy, team-based cheer experience.
Athletes who want additional skill development can register for monthly Cheer Tumbling (December – May) classes at a 25% discount when enrolled in Winter Cheer.
Practice Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Held at The Chehalem Armory (620 N Morton St, Newberg)
Program Fee: $300 (includes practice gear)
Returning Fall Sideline participants receive a $50 automatic discount at checkout.
Families Can Also Expect:
• An end-of-season Winter Showcase performance
• Optional community appearances as scheduled
