Level 5: Ages 6-14
Level 5 swimmers are working toward refining their strokes through repetitive drills and kicking sets that focus on pieces of each stroke individually. Swimmers will continue with competitive turns and how a swimming turn is incorporated within a continuous swim.
Aerobic training is now part of the lesson and swimmers will be swimming several sets of the same activity to accommodate this aspect of the lesson curriculum
By the completion of Level 5, your swimmer will be able to complete a racing start from the side of the pool and swim front crawl for 50 yards, non-stop. They will be able to swim both elementary backstroke and backstroke for 50 yards as well as 25 yards of breaststroke.
Class takes place in 42 inches of water. Classes cancelled by management will be credited to your CPRD ActiveNet account unless otherwise specified. Classes missed due to illness, vacation, etc. do not qualify for credit/make-up lesson or refund. Participant withdrawal is required at least 24 hours prior to the first class to receive full credit; a $25.00 admin fee will be levied for late withdrawals.
