GUPPIES: Advanced Beginner 1LEARNING OBJECTIVES: To learn different arm strokes and leg kicks; how to breathe while swimming; build endurance and strength; explore water polo and synchronized swimming skills. Learn about water, boating and diving safety.REQUIRED SKILLS TO PARTICIPATE Can paddle on the front, side and back without floatation or assistance for 20 feet (approximately the width of 3 lap lanes). Has the endurance to paddle on the front side and back for 25 yards (the length of the lap pool) wearing a float belt. Is comfortable putting their face in the water and submerging. Can jump out away from the side, turn and return without assistance.
