About This Activity

Description

This activity is closed to further registration.

The class is designed to provide instruction on the Fundamentals of computer programming, architecture, and science. We will discuss basic game development, Boolean logic, basic computer arithmetic (binary and hexadecimal) in addition to working with the Scratch development environment. Students will have created their own game and present it by the end of the session and be empowered with fundamental information to continue learning computer languages.

***Students should bring a Wi-Fi capable laptop. If you do not have one available, a laptop can be made available for rent for $20 during the course of the session.***


The start date for this program is October 3 at 6:00pm at the Katy Cavins Community Center Kitchen.

This is a six week course.
