About This Activity
Are you passionate about the outdoors and looking to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us each month to develop the natural outdoor leaders in you through leadership and outdoor skills workshops. Hop in the Girl Scout van at the Greene Wood Gathering Place then head down to Starved Rock State Park to celebrate “Girl Scouts Love State Parks” weekend! You’ll tour the museum in the visitor center, go hiking on a few of the trails, and lead some younger Girl Scouts in a craft and nature activity. Drop-off and pick-up location: Camp Greene Wood This is a day event and does not include an overnight. This program is designed for individuals WITHOUT an adult chaperone. This IS a drop off event. Food is NOT provided for this event. Participants should bring lunch and snacks from home. A patch will be provided for registered youth participants. Visit our Council Shop for more Girl Scout swag.
