Join City of Olympia staff, park stewards, and other volunteers of all ages to celebrate our trails and green spaces! This fun and family friendly work party will connect volunteers to the environment and our community by continuing to remove introduced plant species and give the wonderful wooded habitats a chance to thrive. Tools, gloves and light refreshments will be provided. Meet just inside the park. To volunteer for this free event, you must sign up online at https://volunteer.olympiawa.gov/. If you have not signed up online before, you will need to create an account. For more information, call 360.753.8365.
For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and all youth under 18 years of age must have an online waiver signed electronically by a parent/guardian. To volunteer for this free event, you must sign up online at http://volunteer.olympiawa.gov/, then click National Public Lands Day to register for the work party. Click Join to register yourself. Click Join As A Team to register yourself and a spouse, child, or family member.
