About This Activity
Description
In this one-session workshop, create a botanical bas-relief casting of summer flowers, which is a time-honored tradition of capturing details of delicate flowers and vegetation. Bring cuttings of live, dried, or faux specimens to press into clay to create your own composition. After removing the flowers, we will pour architectural strength plaster over your creation and let it set up. It will then be ready to decorate with colored acrylic paints, which accent the fine details. No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
