Description
Skateboarding Camp offers a chance to embrace the culture and explore local skate parks with experienced Camp Counselors sharing tricks for skill improvement. This is not an intensive skills camp, so skaters of all levels are welcome - we will have fun, while building confidence and resilience through collaborative skating. Bring your own helmet (falls are inevitable), snacks, lunch, water bottle, pants (no shorts), closed-toe shoes, and a backpack. Skateboards and pads are provided if needed. The staff-to-camper ratio is 1:6, ensuring personalized attention. Field trips take place between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, starting at Garfield Elementary unless specified otherwise in the weekly itinerary. Arrive by 9:00 AM for an exciting day of skateboarding adventures.
Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
