Unplug Illinois is a campaign created by the Illinois Park and Recreation Association that encourages people to unplug from their electronic devices and plug int o play, creativity, friendship, adventure, and family. Stop by the Recreation Center Gazebo anytime during the program for some fun artmaking activities using natural materials. No registration required. Throughout the day: Story Walk - A story walk is an outdoor reading experience where a children's book is deconstructed, and the pages of the book are placed along a trail. Walk the mulched path between the Village Green and the Library anytime on July 15 to experience a story unfold as you walk.
