BOOM Yoga teaches kids mindful movements and peaceful actions. An hour of BOOM Yoga incorporates Asanas (yoga postures), Pranayama exercises (breathing exercises), along with active movements, games and then we always give time for looking inward (Pratyahara) and Dhyana or meditation. We use fun, themed curriculum to keep the kids engaged the entire hour and our class always ends with wind-down time or Savasanas. BOOM Yoga helps children with breathing, raises body awareness, reduces stress, improves concentration and focus, improves balance, muscle strength and flexibility, teaches compassion, encourages mindfulness, grounds us in our bodies, is fun and the benefits of yoga go on.
This class is child participation only. Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but they will not participate with the kids
