The professional development program will prepare the TEC Civic Youth Force Volunteers to gain valuable skills to successfully in completing their volunteer service projects. Students will be exposed to a variety of topics including; code of honor, personal change, resume preparation, job search, professional attire, interview preparation and much more.
The City of Pasadena is currently looking for twenty Civic Youth Force members. If you are interested in being part of the TEC Civic Youth Force teens are required to attend one of the following information sessions. Fall 2013: TEC members will participate in a 10-week career development program aimed to formulate career goals and build professionalism in volunteers.
The TEC Civic Youth Force provides the City of Pasadena youth with vital input on teen issues while promoting greater youth involvement in the community. The TEC Civic Youth Force members engage in a variety of civic engagement projects throughout 2013-2014 academic year including service learning projects, volunteer at departmental special events, and engage in youth programming. Participating teens will have the opportunity to gain community service hours or volunteer hours through our program.
