About This Activity
Description
Camp is from 2-5 PM Monday-Thursday, July 7-10 at the Bearkitten Preschool on the Paso Robles High School campus.
Join us for this fun and informative hands-on camp designed to teach babysitting and childcare skills. Students will learn the basics of infant and childcare, learn how to handle emergencies, important first aid skills and other relevant safety practices. They'll also learn how to choose engaging activities while watching an infant or child. CPR will be taught by Helping Hands Health Education instructors.
All students who successfully complete the program will receive proof of their CPR certification along with a certificate of course completion to use for employment. Participants should wear comfortable clothing for moving around during CPR training on Thursday, July 10.
Full and partial need-based scholarships are available for this activity. Learn more HERE.
In addition to the registration fee, a $50 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the first class which includes the fee for the CPR Certification. Payments may be made by cash, Venmo or a check made out to instructor Brenda Matthysse.
