About This Activity

This ensemble, led by Debbie Stahl, is for clarinets, saxophones, brass and guitars (there may also be opportunities for drummers depending on the number of musicians participating.) Students are expected to have been playing their instruments for at least one year, and to currently be taking private lessons. (Students new to the Jazz Ensemble will need to demonstrate a level of play before joining the group.) Preference will be given to students in 5th grade. Students are expected to have been playing their instruments for at least one year, and they also are expected to be studying currently in private lessons. Interested students new to the Jazz Ensemble should speak with their classroom music teacher (Debbie Stahl, Taia Harlos or Renee Warnick) before enrolling. The Jazz Ensemble will perform for the Lower School community in Decmeber. PLEASE NOTE: JAZZ ENSEMBLE WILL BEGIN ON SEPT. 27. Please note: There will be no club on Tuesday, November 22 and the final club session will take place on Tuesday, December 6.
