About This Activity
In this club, participants will learn the art of Japanese paper folding, making a variety of projects, including and not limited to a garland of cranes, tiny gift boxes, a small zoo of animals, a crown of flowers and an origami mobile. Origami encourages us to slow down, pause and take our time to focus, making clean folds and sharply lined edges, to make a 3-D creation by using what we already have: our hands and our minds, connecting to paper. We will practice the art of beginning again and finishing our tasks in an encouraging, supportive and relaxed environment. (Please note: There are no sessions on Feb 16, Mar 15 & 29, and Apr 26.)designed to accommodate all levels and will travel off campus to Markward.)
