The Germantown Friends School Wrestling Camp is open to students of any ability. Our goal is to give you a dynamic week of training tailored to your ability that will help build the foundation for a great wrestling career. We provide a safe, enjoyable environment and emphasize the ethical aspects of the sport. Participants will work on techniques in the morning, including set-up actions, positions, throws, offense, counter offense, bottom, and more. Live wrestling will take place during the afternoon. The camp will be divided into two groups, junior wrestlers (grades 1 - 5) and senior wrestlers (grades 6 - 12). GFS Wrestling coach and former college wrestler Paul Hammond will not only be directing the camp, but he also will be sharing his passion for the sport he has been practicing since he was fourteen. Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of July 5 - 8.
