Dance Scottish is exciting, energetic and lively! Dancers learn steps with which they create dynamic patterns in a sequence of repetitions that is social and tremendous fun. These dances—and the music that accompanies them—date back several hundred years, yet still capture the interest of busy, tech-savvy, 21st-century participants. Dance Scottish is also extremely good exercise, developing coordination, directionality, rhythm and aerobic conditioning. Beloved former Lower School Science Teacher Geoffrey Selling has taught Dance Scottish for more than 40 years all over North America, in Scotland, and even in Japan, where it is exceedingly popular. Please note: GFS is closed on Friday, November 4 and Friday, November 25 so there will be no club on those days, and the final club session will take place on Friday, December 9.
