About This Activity
Description
Classes will be an hour long and will include a warm-up, stretching, martial arts techniques, sparring, games (depending on age), and discussion. Martial arts techniques include punches, kicks, blocks, take-downs, grappling, joint locks, breakfalls, and rolls. Discussions will occur throughout the class regarding martial arts history, scientific principles related to techniques, self-defense, character building, and leadership. Drop-in classes also available for $15
