About This Activity

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Tuesday, December 6, 2016.

How would you like to building a video game of your own design as a way to learn some algebra and computer science? Game designers and animators use math all the time to move characters and design worlds. In this Bootstrap course, you'll build a game while learning the algebra to do it - which will come in really handy when you take algebra I. At the same time, you'll be learning to code in a text based programming language which is actually used by companies that build games and manage finances. This is a triple play opportunity for 6th-8th graders.

Class does not meet November 22, 2016.
