Explore the exciting world of journalism from the comfort of your home with the Young Reporters Club Virtual Edition! In this engaging online program, children will delve into Plainsboro’s rich history, learning about events like the town’s incorporation in 1919, the “alien invasion” panic of 1938, and how Plainsboro was impacted by national and global events such as World War II and 9/11. Participants will discover how these historical moments connect to the present day, develop their research and writing skills, and even conduct virtual interviews with important or influential figures in Plainsboro. Their completed articles will be published in a special museum journal, and one standout article will be chosen for publication in the Plainsboro Reporter.
Instructor will contact you with Zoom Link prior to the first meeting.
