Take the first step on a course for success leading to solo, accompaniment, and ensemble playing. Through a classical approach and a time-tested curriculum, develop the basic techniques of classical, folk & popular styles, including chording, song accompaniment & note reading. Enjoy the camaraderie of a group setting that?s more affordable and dynamic than private lessons.
Rental guitars available at CMC - inquire at the CMC office - 823-3177. Required text (available at CMC): Ashton Guitar Method Book 1 (not included in the registration fee).
Daily individual practice between classes is an important part of successful music instruction.Teacher may require purchase of additional materials not included in registration fee.
This is a school year length course that begins in late September/early October and continues through early June. Students are automatically rolled over into winter & spring term, with tuition due the first day of the new term. Winter begins week of 1/9/17, Spring begins week of 4/3/17. Listed fee is for Fall term, and is the same for Winter and Spring.
