Fine-tune your mind to develop an in-depth understanding of meter, rhythm, melody, & harmony. Improvise melody, create harmony, & build ensemble pieces using easy-to-play mallet instruments. Theory & ear training through methods such as Orff, Koldaly & Dalcroze provide the foundation for success as a musician.
Prerequisite: Skills Level II or the equivalent.
This is a school year length course that begins in late September/early October and continues through early June. Students are automatically rolled over into winter & spring term, which tuition due the first day of the new term. Listed fee is for Fall term, and is the same for winter and spring.
Only $20 for youth students in the CMC Private Lesson Program.
