Join violin's answer to the cello project while delving into the rich library of literature for this versatile instrument. Explore playing with others in two, three, & four part harmony while building ensemble skills, developing sight-reading ability, & extending technique, all under the guidance of an instructor. A great preparatory experience for joining an orchestra or chamber group
Prerequisite: at least two years of study on the violin, or permission of the instructor.
Violists, check with office (to obtain instructor permission) before joining.
Daily individual practice between classes is an important part of successful music instruction. Teacher may require purchase of additional materials not included in registration fee.
This is a school year length course that begins in late September/early October and continues through early June. Students are automatically rolled over into winter & spring term, with tuition due the first day of the new term. Winter begins week of 1/9/17, Spring begins week of 4/3/17. Listed fee is for Fall term, and is the same for Winter and Spring.
