The second annual Princeton University Girls Ice Hockey Elite Camp is designed for competitive High School (entering grades 9-12) players whose aspiration is to play hockey at the collegiate level. This camp is extremely fast-paced, challenging and will feature 14 hours of ice time. Morning sessions will focus on the fundamentals of skill development and power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, and how to lengthen their stride. Puck protection, passing and scoring will be skills taught. The afternoon session will consist of and team play/concepts. Players will learn all aspects of team play and will develop skills through collegiate style practices. Coaching will parallel standards we teach to our college team. Games will be played Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday morning. In addition, players will workout with the Princeton University Strength and Conditioning Coach.
