About This Activity
New stories and crafts each session! Former story art students are welcome! Does your child enjoy picture books? Is art something that brings them joy? In this club, your child will explore a new picture book each week and do an exciting art project with each story. The art activities will use a wide range of materials, offer fine motor skills practice, a place to be creative, and will be an opportunity for each child's unique artistic self to shine; all while enjoying the exciting elements of a great story! Mrs. Coltrain will highlight important parts of the stories in a book discussion such as characters, setting, and problem and solution. Come to this club and hear great new stories and enjoy a hands-on art activity each week. Art portfolios of beautiful work will be collected and sent home with extra materials at the end of the 8 weeks!
