"You’ve learned what executive function skills are—now it’s time to use them. This course is designed to help students take their understanding of executive functions and apply those skills directly to everyday life. Whether it’s managing time, staying organized, setting goals, handling stress, or making decisions, this class focuses on strategies that support independence, productivity, and personal growth. Through discussion, interactive activities, self-reflection, and real-world planning projects, students will build routines and habits that help them succeed in school, work, relationships, and beyond." Instructor: Audra Eckes Audra grew up on Long Island. After earning an MS in Deaf Education, she worked as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in NYC, Long Island, and Maryland. She moved to NC in 2007 for her career but wound up becoming a bonus mom to a child who eventually needed to be homeschooled. So, in 2014, a new “teaching”/learning adventure began. Besides learning, Audra’s other interests include reading, writing, photography, dog rescue, and spending time with her family.
