Instructor: Audra Eckes Audra grew up on Long Island. After earning an MS in Deaf Education, she worked as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in NYC, Long Island, and Maryland. She moved to NC in 2007 for her career but wound up becoming a bonus mom to a child who eventually needed to be homeschooled. So, in 2014, a new “teaching”/learning adventure began. Besides learning, Audra’s other interests include reading, writing, photography, dog rescue, and spending time with her family.
