Brian Morgan, Women's Head Coach at Cardinal Gibbons, brings Coerver soccer skills training to Ravenscroft. With a 40 year history and endorsements from Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool FC and other top clubs, Coerver Coaching has been the global leader in soccer player development producing confident, creative players. Coerver training focuses on building player confidence through mastering footwork and playing with creativity under pressure. All in an engaging, fittingly competitive environment. Training will take place after school and will be age appropriate with a maximum 1:12 coach to player ratio. PERFORMANCE ACADEMY is Coerver® Coaching’s in-depth player development program. This class is for players aged 8-11 and is based on the five S's of the Coerver® Code: Skill, Speed, Sense, Strength, & Spirit. The program is taught by Coach Morgan and experienced Coerver® staff coaches, who customize skill development to meet the needs of each individual player. The Performance Academy level will focus on the “Core” technical skills, meaning that each training day is focused around one of our 4 core Coerver® move sets. In addition to the move sets, each player will train in ball mastery, dribbling with control and speed, ball striking, finishing, and passing & receiving.
