About This Activity
All fraction concepts will be taught and demonstrated...such as add/subtract with like and unlike denominators. Multiply and divide. Using Mixed numbers. Equivalent fractions. Lots of hands-on manipulatives. Homework will be assigned most weeks. This is how students will practice and remember what they learn in class. They must know their multiplication facts to qualify for this class. Instructor: Grace Danuck I love solving math mysteries! ie. Equations. It's fun to combine unlike things to come up with a new understanding ie, add/subtract fractions with different denominators. I am a game player, so I try to incorporate that in my teaching. I think math is fun and enriching. I am praxis-certified in middle school math. I have taught at THE and also have tutored from my home in Apex for over 5 years.
