Recycled art is all about turning everyday discarded materials into creative masterpieces! Instead of throwing things away, we can use them to make something unique and environmentally friendly. Instructor: Melissa Platero Melissa Platero is a graduate from the UNC Greensboro with a BS in Education. She has homeschooled her own children since 2005. She loves theater arts and working with children to learn science and history through the telling of stories. My strengths involve my ability to work with a diverse population of students, from at risk teenagers to struggling adults. My passion is to make the world a better place, to increase the ability of students to manage their own problems, to solve through critical thinking skills, and to gather and process information skillfully.
