About This Activity
We are going to uncover the history and the past. Metal detecting is a tool to discover artifacts and things that people have left behind. Detectors will be provided! These buildings have been around since the early 1900s - imagine what you may find. Instructor: Melissa Platero Melissa Platero is a graduate from the UNCG School of Education with a BS in Middle Grades Education and certifications in language arts and social studies. She enjoys teaching all ages and has homeschooled her own children since 2005. She loves theatre arts and working with children to learn science and history through the telling of stories.
