I will assign homework…for the purpose of practicing concepts learned in class." From fractions and decimals to geometry and equations, this class covers the basic important concepts for math students in grades approximately 6 through 8. I do assign homework most weeks as this helps entrench learning. I want kids to remember what they learn! Especially because math is always building upon earlier concepts. Instructor: Grace Danuck I love solving math mysteries! ie. Equations It's fun to combine unlike things to come up with a new understanding ie. add/subtract fractions with different denominators. I am a game player, so I try to incorporate that in my teaching. I think math is fun and enriching. I am praxis-certified in middle school math. I have taught at THE, and also have tutored from my home in Apex, for over 5 years.
