About This Activity
You will learn how to write and complete a full-length novel. You will have a finished manuscript in hand at the end of the course. This intensive course provides a schedule for crafting a novel from start to finish! This class will also help you stay motivated throughout the journey. You will learn how to: 1. Select your novel genre and develop a compelling premise 2. Create multidimensional characters and immersive settings 3. Craft a detailed plot outline 4. Manage your time to keep your writing flow consistent 5. Combat common roadblocks, including writer’s block 6. Master the art of self-editing: refining your plot and fixing pacing, dialogue, and characterization problems. Instructor: Beck Fahey Dr. Beck Fahey is a passionate scientist who teaches a variety of classes at THE, covering everything from biochemistry to basketball and even cooking! She truly hopes her students develop a love for learning and eagerly shares her knowledge of science and education with the next generation.
