About This Activity
Level 1 Tuesday & Thursday 5:00pm-7:00pm 4+ years old This beginner-level class is designed to introduce young learners to the foundations of reading and understanding the Quran. In the Quran Foundation component, students will learn to recognize, pronounce, and write all 29 Arabic letters with accuracy. The Quran Tafsir component offers students a simple and engaging introduction to the meanings of the surahs they are memorizing. Teachers will explain key words, share the background stories behind each surah’s revelation, and highlight the benefits of understanding and reciting them. Teachers Inaaya & Yasmin Room: 157A
