About This Activity
Description
Learn the basics of sewing while you work on creative projects with other kids your age. You'll make machine-sewn project each week that you can take home and show off to your friends and family. If this is your first time sewing, we'll start you off with some great beginner projects. And if you've been sewing for a while, we'll challenge and develop your skills. All of the use of sewing machines, basic patterns and notions and fabric are included. Each session is catered to you and your skills so that you can sign up for the program again and again.
SKILLS & TECHNIQUES: Sewing-machine basics, Hand sewing techniques, Tools & Terminology, Stitches: regular, topstitch, edge stitch and basting, Seam finishes, Working with various materials, Appliqué and adorning techniques.
