About This Activity
**7week enrichment** GIRLS WHO CODE Learn the basics of coding in multiple programming languages! This enriching experience is open to girls in grades 4th through 8th. Scholarships are available if your child is interested but the cost is prohibitive, we want every girl to have the opportunity to learn to code. Each session will include a short lesson followed by a fun project or game-based coding challenge. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models while gaining valuable computer science skills. Girls Who Code aims to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the computing skills needed to pursue 21st-century opportunities. Our vision is to achieve gender parity in the computing and technology sectors.
