About This Activity
Description
From castles to cartoons—and lots of fun in between! We learn about the use of real gold in manuscript illumination during the Middle Ages, then zoom forward six hundred years to the present and practice creating cartoon drawings like professional animators. Azulejos and ikebana sculptures take us from Portugal to Japan, and we try our hand at stippling flowers and designing a logo with our names.Class theme: Color, Color Everywhere*materials are provided
