About This Activity
Description
The purpose is to build on the basic swimming and water safety skills and concepts learned in Level 1. Participants begin to perform skills at a slightly more advanced level and begin basic propelling skills on both front and back. This level marks the beginning of independent aquatic swimming skills. They will learn: Submerging entire head * Bobbing in water * Front and back glide * Jellyfish float * Treading water using arm and leg motions * Swimming using combined stroke on front and back. Child must have successfully passed Level 1.
