(18+, 10+ with an adult) McAfee Knob is the most photographed view along the Appalachian Trail, and for good reason! The 270 degree view is amazing with sights of Catawba Valley, Tinker Cliffs, and the Roanoke Valley, this is the iconic capstone to the Roanoke 7 Summits series. 7.8 miles out and back with over 1,000 feet of elevation gain is worth every drop of sweat for the reward at the top. The program fee includes transportation and leadership.
