About This Activity

WHIFFLE MASTER GUIDE SERVICE: Join Dennis Currier, on a duck hunt in the famed Lambertville area, which is located less than one-half mile from the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. This area winters thousands of waterfowl each year. Hunters will hunt out a three man pit blind in natural habitat. Hunt on a mutually agreeable date with guide. Hunt Dates: January TBD-Capacity two hunters (one junior and one adult) BIRD HAVEN RANCH: This is one of the premier duck clubs in the country. At 2,200+ acres and located just west and adjacent to the closed zones of Howard Slough and Little Dry Creek Wildlife Areas, this club is one of the most beautiful and productive marshes in the Pacific Flyway. Hunt Dates: January 7-Group #1-Capacity two hunters (one junior and one adult) January 7-Group #2-Capacity two hunters (one junior and one adult) The NORTH RANCH: This property borders the northeast side of the famed Rancho Esquon in Durham. These waterfowl hunts will take place in rice fields December through January. All pit blinds will be ready to hunt, with stools and decoys provided. Two groups will be drawn each hunt date. Special Conditions: At least one hunter must be a junior Capacity: Three hunters (two juniors and one adult) per group Hunt Dates: January 7 January 14 January 21 BUTTE CREEK FARMS: Butte Creek Farms is located on the western edge of the world famous Butte Sink just two miles East of Colusa. The club consists of 2,000 acres of flooded rice with only 800 acres hunted by the club. With outstanding views of the Sutter Buttes and beautiful riparian habitat mixed throughout, this is not your average rice club. The hunt will take place in a custom pit blind in a flooded rice field. The entire club is 20ga only and stops hunting at noon. Hunt Date: January 18 Hunter Capacity: Three hunters (two juniors and one adult)
