We're sorry, but this sub-activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, February 11, 2017.
PLEASE NOTE: Lessons meet for five total sessions; the sixth week is reserved for making up postponed lessons (postponed for weather reasons only).
Students will learn about basic skills, equipment, and safety including maneuvering on flat and hilly terrain, falling safely, performing skidded turns, and hopping on flat terrain. Recommended that students be at least eight years old by Jan. 1.
Como Park Ski Center has lessons for all ski and snowboard levels. Students are grouped by ability for a more enjoyable experience. Students are required to demonstrate fundamental skills to pass to the next level.
The program priorities are (in order or importance): SAFETY - FUN - LEARNING. Safety rules are stressed at all levels. Como Ski and Snowboard School recommends helmets for all students.
Saturdays are for lessons only - Downhill skiing is not available.
