This is an extremely useful class that teaches young students how to write a good speech in six easy steps, which are: 1) Understand why and who 2) Label the sections of the speech 3) Decide the opening and the closing 4) Create the body of the speech 5) Make it interesting 6) Preparing for critical thinking and spontaneous changes. Additionally, they learn the importance of writing like they talk, making it personal. With topics of their interests and our encouragement to use props, stories, jokes, and pictures, we make learning speech writing easy and exciting! Plus, they learn how to structure their thoughts in order to express them with confidence and effectiveness. It is excellent preparation for our advanced courses and their regular school curriculum.
