The youth basketball program is designed to develop and enhance players' fundamental skills on passing, dribbling and shooting ability in a friendly and team oriented environment. The program is for children ages 5 to 7 years old, and teams are divided into age divisions. Qualified teams will get a chance to participate in the City Wide tournament hosted by the S.P.O.R.T.S. Committee at the end of the season.
We will have two PeeWee teams this season, Team Gold and Team Blue. Two weeks into practice the coaches will host a draft where players will be selected for one of the two teams. The teams will play on the same days (TBA) and practice during the same time slot throughout the season.
The season will include two practices and one game per week. Dates and times to be announced. No experience is needed.
