If students are unable to attend a national audition class, they may audition via video link (only). Reminder: Students who are interested in applying for a scholarship are required to attend a live audition in order to be considered. Length: Your audition footage should be no longer than 10 minutes in length, and it should equally focus on barre, center, pointe (if applicable), and solo work. Content: Make sure to include all of the following: - Minimal barre work (one side only) - Center adagio - Pirouette - Petite allegro - Grand allegro - Pointe work (if applicable): class work or a classical variation - A solo: The solo should highlight your unique movement quality and artistic choices. You can choose a dance style other than ballet that features your strengths and are welcome to showcase your own choreography or someone else’s.
