Activity Organizer: Mr. Wolf Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Dates: Tuesdays Location: Room 208 The Jazz Ensemble Club offers instruction and performance practice in the Jazz idiom. Instruction includes exploration of jazz performance fundamentals, history, styles, theory, technique, and repertoire. The perfor-mance component offers students a setting to develop and apply concepts in a small ensemble setting. Students will practice and perform standard jazz repertoire on instruments or voice, and will explore improvisation as soloists and accompanists as an ensemble. Students will practice and rehearse with the goal of performing in various performance opportunities outside of the scheduled meeting times. Prerequisites: Students interested in participating must have a basic foundation and skills sets on instrument or voice. Auditions will be required to join, please inquire audition time with Mr. Wolf. Auditions require the performance of 2 Major scales, and 2 Minor scales by memory, and a short prepared etude or piece of the student’s choice.
